| Product Description |
First, the shift lever base (white plastic part in Photo 2), which forms the base of the shift lever, is fixed to the body at four points, but all of these are not rigid, but floating mounts with rubber bushings.
Additionally, rubber bushings are also used in the shift wire bracket, which is attached to secure the shift wire.
Of course, rubber bushings offer greater comfort, such as reduced mechanical noise, but the shift lever base moves loosely with each gear change, and the amount of movement of the shift wire changes depending on the flexibility of the rubber bushing, resulting in a squishy, non-rigid shift feel.
The TM-SQUARE shift collar uses a metal collar instead of these rubber bushings, and by rigidly fixing the shift lever base and the shift wire bracket (Photo 3), it has achieved a shift feel with a sense of rigidity.
|
| Remarks |
This product has been developed on the assumption that it will be installed together with the TM-SQUARE reinforced engine mount.
